Bis- 3-dimethylamino-propyl

This procedure also incorporates the use of bis(3-dimethylamino-propyl)phenylphosphine as a combined amine-phosphine reagent. The merits of using this basic phosphine as opposed to a tertiary amine and a phosphine lies in the ease of workup. Excess phosphine and phosphine sulfide can be removed by extraction with aqueous dilute acid. [Pg.133]

It is also worth mentioning here that two compounds containing a Zn Sn coordinate bond have been reported. The first of these is the sole example of a dialkyltin species (see Tin Organometallic Chemistry) stabilized by coordination to zinc-/3-diketonate. It was obtained by reaction of bis[3-dimethylamino)propyl]zinc with bis(dibenzoylmethanato)tin (equation 37) and its molecular structure shows a Zn Sn bond length of 2.634 A. The second compound is... [Pg.5225]

A cationic polymer, quaternized poly bis(2-chloroethyl) ether-a/M,3-bis[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]urea was used to obtain cationic polymer-mesoporous silica nanoparticles. The material was studied as the DDS for ibuprofen and captopril, and showed well-sustained release profiles. [Pg.311]

It is noteworthy that a series of catalysts follow alternative empirical rate laws and overgeneralization of the mechanism above should be avoided. For example, Hultszch and coworkers have shown that sterically crowded magnesium phenoxylate complexes [LMg Pr] (L = 4-tcrt-butyl-6-(triphenylsilyl)-2-[bis((3-(dimethylamino)propyl)amino)methyl phenoxyl) demonstrate the empirical rate law V = Fobs[aminoalkene] [catalyst] while coordinatively unsaturated analogues of this catalyst exhibit a second-order dependence on substrate concentration [78]. Similarly, the unsolvated group 2 precatalysts [M(N(SiMe3)2 2] (M = Ca, Sr) provide kinetic data for the cyclization of (l-aUylcyclohexyl)methylamine at 298 K in CeDs that are second order in catalyst [82]. [Pg.202]

The solvent was removed using a rotatory evaporator, and the resulting residue was diluted with ether (50 mL). The diamine was extracted with 10% phosphoric acid (3 x 15mL), after which the aqueous layer was made alkaline (pH 9) with 10 % sodium hydroxide solution (100 mL). The resulting mixture was extracted with ether (5 x 50 mL). The combined ethereal extracts were dried over anhydrous potassium carbonate, filtered and concentrated in vacuo to afford the pure (f ,i )-l,l -bis [a-(dimethylamino) propyl]ferrocene as an orange solid (11.4 g, 98.0%). [Pg.197]

Bis(3-dimethylamino-2-methylpropyl)-5-iminodibenzylyl carboxylic acid at 185-250°C up to discontinue a separation of oxyde carbonique. The product was dissolved in ether, then washed with the hydrochloric acid. Then this solution was extracted with ether. The solvent was evaporated under vacuum, to give pure oil bis(3-dimethylamino-2-methyl-l-propyl)-5-iminodibenzyle with boiling point 153-154°C at 0.4 mm. Maleate of bis(3-dimethylamino-2-methyl-l-propyl)-5-iminodibenzyle have melting point 145-146°C. [Pg.3351]
