Fluvastatin Bezafibrate

Combination therapy with fluvastatin and bezafibrate 400 mg/day in 71 patients with persistent hypertriglyceridemia resulted in no significant increase in creatine kinase activity or in the frequency of myalgia (76).

Concomitant administration of fluvastatin and bezafibrate resulted in a 50% increase in the AUC of fluvastatin (SEDA-21, 460).

In one study bezafibrate 200 mg three times daily inereased the AUC and maximum levels of fluvastatin 20 mg daily by about 50 to 60%. Bezafibrate pharmaeokinetics were not affected. ...
