Sodium hypochlorite is also a disinfectant. When you use a liquid bleach solution to wash the bathroom floor or the kitchen counter, you are taking advantage of both the disinfecting and bleaching properties of this chemical. By oxidizing molecules in the outer surfaces of bacteria, a disinfectant is able to disrupt the structure of the cells and kill them. 

The term hard surface covers a wide range, including kitchen preparation surfaces, bathrooms, floors and glass. The formulations of the cleaning products for each of these subsegments differs and, in some cases, very different technologies are available for the same end use.

The frying pan has a phenolformaldehyde plastic handle and a Teflon interior coating.

All of these materials may occur within only two rooms of the same home ... 

Polyester PC is used in various procast and cast-in-place applications in construction works, public and commercial buildings, for the manufacture of sanitary engineering, cladding of composite pipes in bathrooms and toilets, stairs, and chemical-resistant floors [2,6,7],...

The consumption of polypropylene carpet in West Europe is about 0.5 MT, which is about 50% of all flooring materials for 2.6 billion sq.m. It is second to 3.6 billion sq.m, for nylon, whereas polyester is only used for bathroom rugs. Among the flooring materials used in West Europe, tufted carpet accounts for 60%. Among 500,000 tons of polypropylene carpet, tufted carpet accounts for 150 KT, machine woven, 130 KT, needle-punched, 100 KT, and carpet backing, 100 KT. 

I once inspected a toilet facility at a mine in a foreign company, and in the only bathroom found that the only urinal s outlet pipe was disconnected at the bottom, and everything that went in ran out onto the floor. The miners were literally walking around with wet boots, yet the management didn t waste any time in telling me that the employees had an attitude in regard to safety. 

Adequate floor space is necessary for a person to maneuver a wheelchair or walker around the bathroom without any obstruction. 

Full-extension drawers can be installed in bathrooms up to 60 in off the floor.
