Baking machinery

After World War I, the English baking machinery manufacturer Joseph Baker and Sons took over Werner, Pfleiderer, and Perkins (which had been renamed Perkins Engineers). The new firm was called Baker Perkins [17]. Baker Perkins purchased the Werner-Pfleiderer firm in the USA including the Saginaw facility. They did not challenge Banbury s key patent or manufacture internal mixers for rubber compounding. 

Baking Ease of cleaning is again important, and austenitic steels are very suitable for making items such as mixing machinery and working tables.

Uses Iridustrial finishes, machinery enamels, primers, maintenance paints, force-cured coatings, bake applies. 

Examples of synthetic resins include phenol-formaldehyde formulations, which withstand boiling water or slightly higher temperatures and are used in the chemical industry in the form of multiple coats, baked on, for resisting a variety of corrosive media. Silicone and polyimide resins are useful at stiU higher temperatures. Alkyd resins, because of favorable cost, fast-drying properties, and durability, have found wide application for protecting the metal surfaces of machinery and home appliances.
