A second turntable with a higher maximum speed can carry objects with a size up to 300 mm in diameter and a weight up to 250 kg. This turntable can be fixed both, at the front-side and at the back-side of the main turntable. In this manner the operator can make use of the full length of the radiation fan also in the case of small objects. 

The back wall echoes were sampled at 100 MHz and the length of these were 70 samples, yielding a size of the input data vectors, ) = 35. An example of such an echo is shown in Figure 2 together with its log spectral amplitude. 

The temporary filling of the combustion tube D is now inserted this is in part replaced after every combustion. Sufficient wire-form copper oxide is added so that it just emerges to the left of the furnace E when the tube (not including the beak) is protruding 10-15 mm. at the beak end this constitutes the main oxidative packing of the tube. This is followed by 25 mm. of M.A.R. powder-form" copper oxide, followed by the sample suspended in more copper oxide, and backed by an oxidised copper spiral, 50 mm. in length. 

Butane. The VPO of butane (148—152) is, in most respects, quite similar to the VPO of propane. However, at this carbon chain length an important reaction known as back-biting first becomes significant. There is evidence that a P-dicarbonyl intermediate is generated, probably by intramolecular hydrogen abstraction (eq. 32). A postulated subsequent difunctional peroxide may very well be the precursor of the acetone formed. 

Erequendy, a single ultrasonic transducer serves both as the sender of the ultrasonic pulse and as a receiver for the sound waves reflected from surfaces and interior discontinuities. The receiver transforms the stress pulse back into electrical oscillations. AH of the signals are displayed on an oscilloscope screen for interpretation. Eor a material of length E having a wave speed C, the anomaly shown in Eigure 4 would reflect a signal back to the... 

The location of exchangers is the key to maintenance. Usually the back head is kept at a distance of about three meters from the piperack support columns. Access equipment must be able to get in and remove the sheU cover and flange head. Access area must also be provided to handle and remove the sheU cover usually located under the piperack. The tube-pulling or rodding-out area must be kept clear to allow access to the channel end. This space should be at least equal to the tube length and about two meters from the tube sheet location. Tube removal space should be allowed for but is not mandatory if grade-mounted heat exchangers are used and mobile maintenance equipment employed to pick up the entire unit and transfer it to the repair shop.
