Homes attitude

In their homes and their education, the French are conditioned to think, and individualism becomes a Cartesian attitude of systematic doubt, intellectual curiosity, and not accepting as correct what is evidently wrong. Joseph Prudhomme s statement, That is my opinion, and what is more, I share it, is still a valid stereotype. 

The foundations of an image based on acceptance and trust are shaped and built over long years of experience. It takes such documentation to really drive home the point what a dirty war the barbaric attitude of Stalin and his comrades forced the Germans to fight.72...

As a rule, point-source pollution sites are easily identified (large chemical plants, sewage treatment, military bases, etc.) and can be dealt with more or less satisfactorily by means of regulation and/or public pressure. In contrast, non-point-source pollution (homes, restaurants, dry cleaning establishments, etc.) are far more numerous, widely distributed, and therefore more difficult to identify and regulate. It is particularly important that these smaller sources of pollution adopt the desired pollution prevention attitude. Small colleges are one example of an intermediate source of pollution in which several departments and offices on campus may use, store, and dispose of pollutants quite independently of one another. 

Such beliefs can easily be discarded by a student if he keeps a broken mirror at his home and finds to his satisfaction that it has not created any type of disharmony in his home. Similarly, other superstitions and misbeliefs can be tested and easily discarded by a student of chemistry. Various researches carried out in the field have drawn the same conclusion i.e, by practical survey and study of such common beliefs, students have developed permanent mind-sets or attitudes towards such superstitions. 

Despite the presence of Duke University, Durham maintains a tough, blue-collar attitude that makes it rough for vegetarians. This is the home, however, of the Triangle Vegetarian Society, one of the more active veggie-friendly organizations on the East coast. 

The film uses a blue filter to present an attitude about Brighton Beach. The cinema verite footage of the deli, the restaurant, the street, and the subway station, as well as the beach, echo a community in a deep malaise. The emigres are not home in their new home. But they recreate the sounds and smells and sights that remind them of home—Moscow, Mother Russia. The film has a powerful sense of place and of nostalgia for that other home, far away. 

Directly opposite the Midheaven is the I.C., or imum coeli (from the Latin imum coeli, meaning lowest part of the heavens ). The I.C. influences your attitude toward home and family, affects the circumstances at the end of your life, and, like the M.C., is associated with one of your parents. It s sometimes described as representing the base of the personality, which suggests that its importance is greater than it appears. 

The Midheaven affects your attitude toward career. The I.C. affects your attitude toward home and family.

Your I.C. is Pisces, which indicates that feelings of abandonment in childhood make you long for a serene home filled with spiritual solace. Your attitude is that of the French philosopher Gaston Bachelard, who wrote in The Poetics of Space, If I were asked to name the chief benefit of the house, I should say The house shelters day-dreaming, the house protects the dreamer, the house allows one to dream in peace. ... 

The Ascendant symbolizes your surface personality. The Descendant represents your approach to marriage and partnerships. The Midheaven, or M.C., depicts your ambition and public image. The imum coeli, or I.C., indicates your attitude toward home and family.
