The results prove strong relation between cold contact method data and DSC. The simple eutectic interaction of pseudoephedrine hcl-acetaminophen, the peri-tectic interaction between methampyrone-phenylbutazon, and solid solution formation between amoxicillin trihydrate-clavulanate have been early detected by this simple method. Therefore, this method has high possibility to be used as a simple method to evaluate the other drug interactions [10—13]. 

Drug/Food interactions Absorption of most penicillins is affected by food these medications are best taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Penicillin V may be given with meals however, blood levels may be slightly higher when taken on an empty stomach. Amoxicillin and amoxicillin/potassium clavulanate tablets may be given without regard to meals. 

Administration of amoxicillin with these drinks may reduce the potency of the drug because many red dyes chemically interact with the drug. 

Probenecid markedly increased the AUC of the active metabolite of oseltamivir, but because of the large safety margin of oseltamivir, this increase is not considered to be clinically relevant. " Oseltamivir did not alter amoxicillin pharmacokinetics, and is therefore unlikely to interact with other renally secreted organic acids. Other drugs that are involved in the active anionic tubular secretion mechanism are also unlikely to interact. Cimetidine does not interact with oseltamivir, and other drugs that are inhibitors of the renal cationic secretion transport process are unlikely to interact. ...
