Table I presents a summary of some of the literature pertinent to the phase behavior of a number of the lighter components of petroleum, listing publications. In this table the specific references for each subject are identified by an index number applicable to an American Documentation Institute reference 59). The large number of entries involved does not permit the inclusion of the specific references as part of this discussion. The marked increase in publication found in the past five years appears typical of the general growth of research activities, although in part it may result from a more complete literature search in this period.

The American Documentation Institute, Washington, D. C., can give some information on the activities of documentation centers in other countries and their services, and it operates a microfilm and photoprint service. 

The American Documentation Institute and the UNESCO Library, both in Paris, can give some help in locating dissertations and obtaining copies of those for European countries, but they are not able to offer extensive services in literature searches, even for a fee. 

The National Microfilm Association, of Hingham, Mass., collects information on the production, consumption, processes, production facilities, and new equipment and products in the field of microfilming and microdocumentary reproduction. These data are generally not available to nonmembers. Much of the published data appear in the journal American Documentation (24), published by the American Documentation Institute.

The HSE does not publish a comprehensive list of toxicological summaries or rationale for Its limits but some information related to recent toxicity reviews of current standards has been published Since many of the current British Limits use values similar to the TLV system the American documentation may be useful in assessing that adequacy of particular standards. 

Xerox Corporation is an American document management company, which manufactures and sells a range of colour and black-and-white printers, multi-function systems, photo copiers, digital production printing presses, and related consulting services and supplies. Xerox is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut. 

To produce a comprehensive list would be impossible but it is true to say that all these specifications relate to two original American documents which were at that time, effectively, the worldwide specifications for the industry.
