Alternative Manufacturing Processes

The alternative manufacturing processes of higher molecular weight primary alcohols are given in Fig. 6. 

Another recent modification to the TRI program is that an optional threshold has been established for facilities with low annual reporting amounts. Under this exemption, a facility that releases a combined total of 5001b or less of a TRI chemical to all media is eligible to use an alternate manufacture, process, or otherwise use threshold of one million pounds for that chemical. It is still necessary to substantiate your status under this exemption through maintenance of records and documentation.

Probably, the use of AA in particular for the production of new high-performance polyamides and polyesters for high-quality applications and thus its production volume might be larger (production volumes of several lOOOOt/year), if the ozonolysis could be replaced by an alternative manufacturing process. First of all, the electric vehicle as an approach for alternative propulsion, but also interesting works for enhancing sustainability with alternative manufacturing processes, materials as well as drive systems have been addressed. 

The alternative manufacturing processes (Section 1.10.4.1.2) are already in use today. The ratio compared to conventional production technologies in the mold is still very low, not least because of the higher manufacturing costs and lack of awareness. The future will also require even smaller structures and components in the field of mass production. Therefore, the importance of manufacturing process in the classical mold making will increase greatly. 

The other source was a suburb of Mulhouse, Domach, where Armand Gerber and Jean Gerber-Keller developed an alternative manufacturing process for aniline red (their product was called azaleme ). Soon the Gerber s were forced to leave France, and they joined forces with the Basle tar distiller Dollftis to erect a plant for the manufacture of aniline dyes (1862). Two years later, they decided to establish their own (small) factory in Basle. 

The following two examples of modification are usually acceptable in reverse engineering (1) the use of a new material to substitute an obsolete material that is no longer available, and (2) using an alternate manufacturing process that is commercially available to substitute an OEM-patented process, provided that they are comparable with each other, and both will produce similar products.
