Zone electrophoresis homogenate

Takayanagi, T. and S. Motomizu. 2007. Pseudo-homogeneous micelle extraction of ion-associates formed between tetrabutylammonium ion and some aromatic sulfonate ions into nonionic surfactant micelle studied through the mobility measurements in capillary zone electrophoresis. J. Chromatogr. A 1141 295-301. [Pg.473]

In zone electrophoresis a homogeneous solid or gel framework is used to support the solution and minimize convectional effects arising from temperature gradients due to Joule heating. In this procedure the supporting material is saturated with the buffer solution, and a small amount of the macromolecular... [Pg.210]

High titers of antibodies can be elicited in rabbits to each of these heat-killed bacterial vaccines, which are generally administered intravenously. A typical course of immunization comprises several injections per week, over a period of 4 weeks, followed by a resting period of a few months, after which intravenous inoculations are resumed. Applied to a random group of New Zealand rabbits, this schedule elicits homogeneous components, readily detectable by zone electrophoresis, in a substantial fiaction of the recipients. Many of the immunized rabbits acquire antibody concentrations exceeding 20 mg/ml (9). [Pg.412]
