Weight problems

Pistons may be of segmented construction to permit the use of one-piece wear bands. One-piece wear bands are a requirement in API 618. Pistons have a problem in common with humans—a weight problem. Weight in a piston contributes directly to the compressor shaking forces and must be controlled. For this reason, aluminum pistons are often found in larger low pressure cylinders. Hollow pistons are used but can pose a hazard to maintenance personnel if not properly vented. If trapped, the gas will be released in an unpredictable and dangerous manner when the piston is dismantled. 

The protein content of plant foods is most of the time so different from that of animal-derived foods that large amounts of plants will have to be consumed with relatively little effect on consumer 5 N values. For an archaeologically meaningful interpretation of isotopic measurements this weighting problem needs to be considered.

Historians have been much exercised to explain this half-century delay in the recognition of the application of Avogadro s principle for the solution of the atomic weight problem. It is not a part of this story to attempt a deeper explanation here, but it is appropriate to ask in a general way if anyone could have done earlier what Cannizzaro did about i860. For our purposes it is sufficient to offer two very broad general circumstances within which the many detailed factors may be subsumed.

Compared to hydride storage, with its weight problems, cryo-adsorption looked good—on paper, at least. Proponents claimed that weight could be cut by as much as one-third compared to titanium-iron hydride, but volume requirements were higher by a factor of 3. In any event, nothing much has been heard about it in recent years, and it seems to have fallen by the wayside. 

Eat relatively small amounts of complex carbohydrates, but again, consume these throughout the day. If you ve got really sluggish energy, and especially if you ve got a weight problem, you can probably get by with far fewer carb-based calories, and you should focus, of course, on complex carbs. Ideally, each carb serving would equal one to two times the size of your palm. 

Other possible uses that have been suggested for the material in the United States are in sports equipment and also in patterns for molding. Weight problems are likely to be important as far as sports goods are concerned, since the density of the wood plastics material is appreciably greater than wood itself, but undoubtedly possibilities exist for replacement of expensive and often scarce timbers by polymer-loaded woods.
