Vladimir M. Egorov was born in Odintsovo-10, Moscow Region, Russia, in 1982. He received his MS in chemistry from Moscow State University in 2005. The subject of his diploma thesis was to develop a method of analytical reagents immobilization on cellulose matrix by dissolution or reconstitution using ionic liquids. Currently, he is a postgraduate student at the MSU Chemistry Department. His research interests include (but not limited to) application and synthesis of novel ionic liquids and computational chemistry. He has been a prize-winner of numerous contests in chemistry, mathematics, and biology. 

Vasiliy Bakulev was bom in Ekaterinburg, Russia. He obtained his Ph.D. in 1979, under the guidance of Prof. Vladimir Mokrushin, on the synthesis of imidazole derivatives. Then he studied electrocyclic reactions of diazocompounds and azomethyneylides and, in 1990, defended the second thesis of Doctor of Science (similar to Habilitation Degree) at Moscow State University. He received a diploma of Professor in 1998. Jointly with Wim Dehaen, he published a book on the chemistry of 1,2,3-thiadiazoles in 2004. He is currently professor at the Organic Synthesis and Technology Department of the Urals State Technical University (Ekaterinburg, Russia).

Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University in Izhevsk, Russia, as v/ell as Chief of Basic Research at the ffigh Educational Center of Chemical Physics and Mesoscopy at the Udmurt Scientific Center, Ural Division at the Russian Academy of Sciences, ffe is also the Scientific ffead of Innovation Center at the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant in Izhevsk, Russia.
