Visualization of the supply chain

For the forward planning of resources we need a kind of recipe for every service package to be rendered, e.g. for a product, in which all necessary resources, such as purchased parts and outside services as well as all internally-produced parts and goods and services, e.g. design, are included. 

ERP systems derive this data from bills of material and work sheets. We have seen that they only account for approx. 20% of the procedures to be performed and there is no graphic representation whatsoever (Fig. 8). 

For this reason, we developed a completely different approach to process mapping the Wassermann Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Simulation takes the bills 

Wassermann Supply Chains immediately reveal the activities process nature they can be expanded as desired. Plant and equipment makers, for example, can add order-related engineering activities and customer services (Fig. 10). 

The software automatically adds to the supply chain all of the cost and time-intensive overhead activities (Fig. 10).
