Venus aspects

An aspect of life in clouds that is beyond the scope of this book (cold environments) is potential life in Venusian clouds. The surface of Venus is too hot (464°C) for liquid water or carbon-based life (Cockell 1999). Atmospheric constraints include sulfuric acid clouds and high doses of ultraviolet radiation in principle, these atmospheric constraints can be overcome (Cockell 1999 Schulze-Makuch et al. 2004), which means that Venus could be close to possessing a habitable environment. However, it still remains to be demonstrated that the residence time in Venusian clouds is sufficiently long to create a self-sustaining ecosystem. 

The column on the right is called the Pillar of Mercy and represents the masculine aspects of the One. Contained in this column are the three Sephira—Chokmah (Wisdom), Chesed (Mercy) and Netzach (Victory). These relate to the band of the Zodiac, Jupiter and Venus. 

The chapters in this part help fill in those blanks. Chapter 8 illuminates the Moon and the Nodes of the Moon in all 12 signs. Her chart clearly held the potential of a life-threatening accident involving a lover. In addition, at the time of her death, the position of the outer planets in the sky heightened the perils that were lying in wait in her birth chart. 

I consider the planets in this order first the Sun and Moon, then the planets in order of their distance from the Sun Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. When looking up an aspect, be sure to look for it under the planet that comes first in the list. An aspect between Mercury and Uranus, for example, appears under Mercury an opposition between Venus and Pluto is discussed under Venus, and so on.

Hard aspect (sort of) Mercury and Venus are never farther than 76° apart, so they can t form a square or opposition. But they can be semisquare — a 45° angle that enhances your creative abilities and can stim-J ulate you to be critical of those you love the most. 

Restrictive Saturn inhibits affectionate Venus. This aspect grounds and strengthens your feelings — but also brings suffering and delays in love. 

Hard aspects Looking for a reliable relationship with an appropriate person 1 doubt it. You seek the thrill of the forbidden. Out-of-the-blue love is part of your story sudden betrayal may be another. Among the people in my files with a hard aspect between Venus and Uranus, I find one who had an affair with her sister s spouse, one who ran off with her best friend s husband, one who married her first cousin, and several who defied expectation by marrying someone of another race or nationality.

Conjunctions or other close aspects between the Moon in one chart and the Sun in another — or between the two Moons — breed emotional understanding. Most of NASA s anticorrosion efforts are concentrated on the launch site, where the high temperamres of the launch and the humid coastal atmosphere encourage corrosion. However, corrosion is a concern in other aspects of the space program, as well. Batteries used in the International Space Station (ISS) must be prevented from corroding in the ISS s artificial, earth-like atmosphere NASA s mission of planetary exploration requires that scientists know the corrosivity of a planet s atmosphere before a craft can land safely. Venus, for example, has a highly corrosive atmosphere that makes lander design very difficult. 

The ionosphere of Venus is the most explored and best understood one in our solar system besides that of the earth. The atmosphere at the surface of Venus consists of approximately 96.5% CO2 and 3.5% N2. Photodissociation of CO2 results in atomic oxygen becoming the major atmospheric constituent above about 150 km. The behavior of the ionosphere of Venus is controlled by chemical processes below an altitude of about 180 km. This region of the ionosphere is analogous to the terrestrial E-region fi om the point of view that the main ion is molecular and is under chemical control. However, unlike the earth the maximum plasma density peaks near an altitude of 140 km (see Fig. 14), and is the result of a peak in the photoionization rate. Venus is an excellent example of the importance of chemical processes in establishing the nature of some of the important aspects of an ionosphere. The ion with the largest density is Oj, and yet there is practically no neutral O2 in the upper atmosphere. As mentioned earlier, the major neutral gas constituents in the upper atmosphere are CO2 and O. The photoionization of these neutral gas species is followed by the reactions indicated below, which very effectively turn these initial ions into 02" ...
