Turn-off time

In the Micro-Cap simulation, the model for the IRF140 MOSFET was substituted for the IRF150 MOSFET. The IRF150 MOSFET model showed an unusually long turn-off time, which is believed to be in error. [Pg.299]

The lower limit for short lifetimes in this technique is determined by the optical excitation source turn-off time to about 0.1 gs. For shorter lifetimes steady-state diffusion length measurements are more suitable. The diffusion leyth is related to the recombination lifetime by the equation L l/(Dt ). Suitable techniques are surface photovoltage and scanning electron microscope electron beam induced current. They lend themselves to lifetimes down to the nano-second range. [Pg.27]

Here, z is the position of the molecule at time t. Rearranging and then integrating gives us the relationship between the nth turn-off time, and the nth turn-on time, toa,n,... [Pg.584]

We first eonsider the turn-off time when the applied field is turned off from the distorted state. The anchoring is infinitely strong and the twist angle at the boundary is 0. The initial twist angle can be expanded in terms of all the possible modes ... [Pg.175]

The turn-off time can be reduced by using the polymer network. The trade-off is that the... [Pg.407]

During the conduction of D1 (or D2), a reverse voltage of a diode drop is appHed across 51 (or 52). This time for which the diode conducts must be greater than the turn-off time of the switch for successful operation of the circuit. [Pg.1069]

A doped dichroic mixture (0.15% cholester-ylnonanoate) produces an esthetically better cell, especially with a 90° twist, as it is free from reverse twist patches. There is little change in contrast or transmission, but the turn-off time off without cholesteryl-nonanoate was found to be about 15% shorter ( 50 ms instead of 60 ms). [Pg.1259]
