Trends in the Development of Occupational Health and Safety

Modern methods of OHS management at work follow these prerequisites  

The following strategic question is very important In what way does the policy of occupational health and safety have to be formed—if, on one hand, privatization of public institutions is constantly expanding, while on the other hand, deregulation of law in the field of occupational health and safety is applied Is there going to be a new relationship between state and corporate responsibility  

It is obvious, in the sense of Europe-wide context, that occupational health and safety must progress in accordance with the tendencies of intensive globalization of labour markets both within the European Union and worldwide. 

The XIII World Congress on Health and Safety at Work in New Delhi, India, in 1993 stated the following in its conclusions  

The XVIII World Congress on Health and Safety at Work in Seoul, South Korea, only confirmed these prerequisites (Eigure 1.3) fifteen years later in 2008, based on the so-called Seoul Declaration, whereas requirements for formulation of effective measures within a modern approach toward OHS management were expanded by the following prerequisites
