Trail mixes

Ketamine is almost never taken alone in a club environment. It is frequently mixed with a stimulant like cocaine or methamphetamine and taken simultaneously (commonly called trail mix ). Because its effects are relatively short-lived compared with drugs like MDMA, it is often used as a booster, or a secondary substance, that draws out desired pleasurable effects of the primary drug. 

Food items that you might consider including in your disaster supply kit include ready-to-eat meats, fruits, and vegetables canned or boxed juices, milk, and soup high-energy foods like peanut butter, jelly, low-sodium crackers, granola bars, and trail mix vitamins foods for infants or persons on special diets cookies, hard candy instant coffee, cereals, and powdered milk.

The primary cause of efficiency losses in an axial-flow turbine is the buildup of boundary layer on the blade and end walls. The mechanisms of flashbacks are probably mixed. Some cases may be similar to post-traumatic stress disorder induced by a bad trip (Paton et al., 1973). Abraham (1983) suggested that some of the visual phenomena, such as trailing and after-images, were due to failure of inhibition in visual pathways, possibly mediated in the lateral geniculate nucleus which (in the macaque monkey) contains on-off colour neurons with receptor fields similar to those described in flashbacks. The neurochemical causes of such flashbacks, which can be very disturbing, remains elusive and attempts at treatment are usually ineffective.

Dr. Joe Vinson of the University of Scranton believes that there is something to the chocolate effect, and he came to Belmont to tell us about his intriguing research. Vinson has determined the total polyphenol content of various chocolates and has also found a way of measuring how effective these mixtures are in preventing the oxidation of human ldl in a test tube. In other words, he has calculated a phenol antioxidant index, which takes into account both the quantity and the quality of these desirable substances. At the symposium Vinson reported that cocoa powder and dark chocolate are the best, followed by milk chocolate. Instant cocoa mixes trail the field. Then Vinson delivered the kicker chocolate has more, and better, polyphenols than fruits or vegetables and more than red wine. A forty-gram bar of dark chocolate has as many polyphenols as a cup of that widely promoted antioxidant cocktail we call tea. But there is still the matter of chocolate s fat content.
