Third Stone

The glorious Rule of Sol flavus is 40 to 42 days more with the temperature increased to between 100°C and 12EC (212°F to 250°F). In a moment the Tyrian color comes. It is a sparkling red oil of fiery Vermillion. Alchemists call it the Red Rose the perfect fixation and perfection the Red Poppy of the Rock and the precious tincture. This is at last the Philosophers Stone or Third Stone . When powder forms from the solution, the alchemist slowly increases the temperature to 150°C (SOOT). 

It is no coincidence that many of the artists who combine a Poe-like reflection on technologies of communication as worldmaking devices with the presentation of science fictional scenarios frequently make use of mind altering substances as plot devices, and otherwise, as Poe notoriously also did. A drug, hke other of Poe s mechanisms of displacement, is a medium that alters perceptions and shifts the parameters of the user s world. Perhaps because of the reports of alcoholism and opiate dependency that surround Poe, he has been a crypto-reference for various strands of experimental popular music from the 1960s onward. While Byron seems to be the main prototype for Jimi Hendrix s flamboyant persona and Georgian ruffles, his frequent journeys to outer space ( EXP, Third Stone from the Sun ), identification with aliens, and excursions undersea and to the poles ( 1983 A Merman...

Stony meteorites are similar to igneous rocks (rocks formed by fire) on earth, but they have less silicon and oxygen, and more iron, cobalt, and trace metals. A third kind of meteorite, called pallasite, is somewhere between the other two types. It is about half iron and half stone, in a mixture not normal on earth.

In the New Testament, Kundalini is referred to as the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, who is the Lord, the Giver of Life. The planetary reservoir of Kundalini is termed the Laboratory of the Holy Spirit and initiation as the work of the Holy Spirit. Hence, Jesus question takes on deeper import, Know ye not that ye are temples of the Holy Spirit and that the Power of the Most High dwells within you The human body is the temple, and the heart is the temple s sanctuary (literally, holy place ). But the Adytum, the temple s Holy of Holies, is the pineal gland, the rudimentary third eye. The Stone is confected in the pineal gland by the Spirit-Fire of Chokmah and so the favorite name that the old alchemists awarded themselves was philosophers, the lovers of Wisdom. ... 

Because the Stone is also the opened third eye, we are taught If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light (Matthew 6 22). Tibetan sacred art depicts tantric deities as having an open third eye upon the forehead. Again, The Eye of YHVH is upon them who hold Him in awe. And, in Isaiah 53 8, Thy watchman shall lift up the voice with the voice together shall they sing, for they shall see... 

As part of a study of the reactions of metallacyclic y-ketovinyl complexes of molybdenum and tungsten with acetylenes, directed toward the synthesis of complexed -/-lactones, Stone has reported92 the isolation of several vinyl-ketene complexes. When complex 72 was heated with 2-butyne, one molecule of the alkyne was incorporated into the complex with concomitant carbonylation. X-ray analysis of the product (73) has shown unequivocally that the C-l to C-4 vinylketene fragment is bonded in a planar, rj4-configu-ration. In contrast to the thermal reaction, ultraviolet irradiation of 72 or 74 in the presence of 2-butyne affords the complexes 75 and 76, respectively, where the lone carbonyl remaining after alkyne insertion had been replaced by a third molecule of the alkyne. 

But many may by all these discourses be rendered doubtful in mind as to what they must start with, and as to the consequent theory. So I will, in the first place, speak very briefly concerning Mercury, secondly concerning Sulphur, thirdly concerning Salt for these are the essence of the Matter of our Stone. 

The third component of the stone is the DNA bonded to and resonating through the harmine. It will constitute the hyperdimensional, holographic memory of the device and will contain and explicate the genetic history of all species. It will be the collective memory of the device, and all times and places and conceivable forms will be accessible within its matrix. 

Julian stayed at Harvard four years on minor fellowships, and then went back south to teach at the West Virginia State College for Negroes. His laboratory had next to no apparatus. He was the one-man chemistry faculty, laboratory storekeeper andjanitor as well (de Kruif, 1946). Julius Stone, Jr., a Harvard classmate and the son of a leading banker and industrialist in Columbus, Ohio, came to Julian s aid. With Stone s financial backing and a General Education Board fellowship, he went to Vienna (de Kruif, 1946) and received a Ph.D. at the University of Vienna in 1931. Julian considered himself to be only the third native-born black to earn a Ph.D. in chemistry (de Kruif, 1946). 

The feldspars are widely distributed and comprise almost two-thirds of all igneous rocks. Orthoclase and albite (NaAlSisOg) are feldspars in which one-fourth of the silicon atoms are replaced by aluminum and anorthite (CaAl2Si20g) and has one-half of the silicon atoms replaced by aluminum. Because the ionic radius of Na+ (0.095 nm) and Ca" " (0.1 nm) are the same, solid solutions are often formed between albite and anorthite. Good stones of albite and orthoclase are known as moonstones.
