Score systems in surgery generally aim at quantification and consequently at objectification of risks of surgery patients. In particular, it means to determine the probabflity of occurrence of comphcations, morbidity, for an individual patient or for a group of patients. These score systems are based on characteristics which reflect the gravity of affection, previous affections of patient, demand factors of operation or on combinations of this information. The required data is usually collected and analyzed at the beginning of hospitalization, possibly completed after the operation.
