Simeonidou et al. (238) reported an ion-pair liquid chromatographic method for the determination of sulfadiazine, sulfamethazine, sulfadimethoxine, and sulfaquinoxaline residues in chicken muscle. According to this method, a 3 g ground tissue sample is extracted with 30 ml chloroform.
