Studies on Heavy Metal Pollution of Soils at Different Locations

1 Studies on Heavy Metal Pollution of Soils at Different Locations [Pg.329]

The purpose of this case study is to investigate the following two questions by means of multivariate statistical methods  [Pg.329]

Soils were taken as multiple samples from three partial areas within the investigated territory  [Pg.329]

To determine soil pH two suspensions were, furthermore, prepared from each sample of soil - one with distilled water and one with KC1 solution (c = 1 mol L ). According to the literature [LUX and FABIG, 1987] the mean value of the two quantities is approximately the true pH of the soil. [Pg.330]
