Strategy deliverables

The software test strategy and detailed test scripts (protocol) are reviewed and approved by the Project Team. This review will verify that the test cases will stress the program interfaces, challenge the data boundaries and limits, and verily that the test cases are traceable to the appropriate clauses in the requirements specification deliverable. The review also verifies that the test cases adequately cover the risks identified in the Risk Analysis. The unit/ integration test results are documented by the programmer, and reviewed, approved, signed, and dated by QA. [Pg.219]

Determination of solubility in the pH range of 1-8 and correlating with maximum deliverable dose will help to selection of appropriate routes of administration and delivery technologies. Permeability can be determined experimentally by varying in levels of complexity from in vitro (shake fiask method) to ex vivo (cell cultures) and further to in vivo (whole human body) (Braun et al. 2000). The recommended strategy during pharmaceutical development was to improve the solubility of the lead compound even if the permeability of the molecule is compromised as a result (Barker 2001). [Pg.383]

Figure 15.3 provides yet another view of the supply chain project called the Work Breakdown Structure, or WBS. The WBS is a deliverable, or work product, view. For the supply chain project, this overall deliverable is the Implemented SCM Strategy shown at the top of the WBS. The components of the implemented strategy range below in the WBS structure. Projects A, B, and C, which could include partnership development, process improvements, or new systems or facilities, will also have their own deliverables. Table 15.2 summarizes each of the WBS deliverables. [Pg.184]

Ideally, the company should develop a vision for the supply chain, including the activity system the organization needs to carry out its strategy as developed in Chapter 10. Out of this vision will come a template for partnerships called the Collaboration Strategy. Chapter 15.1 described this deliverable of the supply chain strategy process. This will define what types of partners are sought and their contribution to fulfilling the vision. [Pg.227]

When preparing the project brief it is useful to have those documents that cover current company activities such as capital investment, annual operating plans and long-term plans. In addition, any other relevant reports (such as information on competition, market place, economy and government regulations) of the countries covering the scope of the strategy will help with this activity. The project brief should clearly state the scope, time scale, deliverables and resources required for the project. [Pg.89]

Phase 1, which is strategy building, sets the direction, providing a vision for the future and a structure for implementation. The process for Phase 1 will have similar deliverables, tailored to the situation, for each sphere under examination. Chapter 12 describes these tasks in some detail. The end product of Phase 1 is a "conceptual" design. The conceptual design is essentially a justification document. It is in sufficient detail to understand what will be implemented and the costs and benefits of implementation. This will vary from organization to organization. [Pg.288]
