The effect of steady-state carbamazepine administration on the steady-state pharmacokinetics of ziprasidone has been studied in 25 healthy young adults, in a randomized, placebo-controlled study (112). Carbamazepine caused small reductions in ziprasidone AUCo i2 and Cmax (36% and 27% respectively). The authors concluded that carbamazepine had increased ziprasidone clearance by induction of CYP3A4. 

The thrombin inhibitor argatroban had no effect on the steady-state pharmacokinetics of oral digoxin 0.375 mg/day in 12 healthy volunteers the argatroban was given as an intravenous infusion of 2 micrograms/kg/minute on days 11-15 (236). 

In 40 healthy subjects mibefradil 50 or 100 mg/day for 6 days had no significant effects on the steady-state pharmacokinetics of digoxin, apart from a very small increase in the (242). 

In 11 healthy adults in a double-blind, placebo-controlled study levetiracetam had no effect on the steady-state pharmacokinetics of digoxin or the actions of digoxin on the electrocardiogram (264).
