Starting events

To start Event Viewer, log in as an administrator (or equivalent) and go to Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer. Erom here you can view the System, Application, and Security log files. The System log file displays alerts that pertain to the general operation of Windows. The Application log file logs server application errors. The Security log file logs security events such as login successes and failures. These log files can give a general indication of a Windows computer s health. [Pg.790]

Activities (tasks and sub-processes). An activity is a generic term for work that the operator performs. An activity can be atomic or non-atomic (compound). Events (start events, messages to be sent to the system or the other actors, completion events, errors, deviations, tools related events)... [Pg.1135]

The original interval starts with a start event but finishes with an end event of the inverse interval. This analysis makes sense since other entities or also the same entities can be displayed in the inverse intervals. The inverse intervals therefore have to be analysed with regard to the above mentioned guidewords of this section. [Pg.1270]

Figure 4. Event tree model for possible outcomes following the start event Oil spill from transformer . [Pg.1663]

This analysis is aimed to the identification of macrohazards (Starting Events) that contain all the possible hazards that can occur during the operation of the railway tunnel. [Pg.2171]

Each identified hazard will belong to one Starting Event. The methodology followed for the hazard identification is as follows ... [Pg.2171]

This analysis leads to the identification and the deep investigation of at least the following Starting Events ... [Pg.2171]

Firstly the accident evolutions have been studied as combination of Basic Events intended as simple events describing independently the evolution of the scenario generated by the Starting Event. [Pg.2171]

The development of the Event Tree (ET) for the Starting Event Derailment takes into account the following Basic Events ... [Pg.2171]

The evaluation of the above mentioned rates derives from the analysis of historical data (related to each Starting Event). Due to the fact that available data are not homogeneous, for each Starting Event the following analysis has to be followed ... [Pg.2172]

The evaluation of the consequences of the final scenarios (from ET Analysis) is based on the analysis of lethal models for each Starting Event the model forecasts the number of losses. The main parameters influencing the... [Pg.2173]

The Starting Event mainly responsible for the unacceptability of the curve is the Derailment, while the Starting Event with less impact is the Fire on Board (see Figure 10). [Pg.2175]

Figure 13 highlights the drastic decrease of fatalities per year per Starting Event, in particular, the Derailment, main responsible of the peak in the intolerable zone of the SR curve is reduced of more than 1 order of magnitude. [Pg.2175]

Introduce the target into the mass spectrometer and record a spectrum for 0.5-1 X 10 start events. [Pg.401]

Record the spectrum once more for 5-10 X 10 start events or overnight. [Pg.401]

The inhibition of SCR reactions by HC were studied in the laboratory flow reactor at temperatures around 200-300 °C typical of diesel vehicles over the FTP-75 drive cycle. From an analytical speciation of HC during a typical diesel cold start event, reasonable surrogates for laboratory testing were determined to be propylene (for olefins), benzene (for aromatics), and n-decane (for paraflhns). As described earlier, the initial Cu and Fe SCR catalysts contained beta zeolite. Laboratory evaluations demonstrated that co-feeding any of the three hydrocarbon types had a... [Pg.676]

Critical path is the path taken from the start event to the end event which takes the longest time. [Pg.376]

Identify the three possible paths from the start event A to the finish event F for the contract shown by the network diagram in Fig. 6.49. Identify the critical path and the float time in each path. [Pg.377]

The longest time from the start event to the finish event is 24 hours, and... [Pg.377]

Commencing with the start event at the left-hand side of a sheet of paper, the arrows representing the various activities are built up step by step until the final event is reached. A number of attempts may be necessary to achieve a well-balanced and symmetrical network diagram showing the best possible flow of work and information, but this time is well spent when It produces a diagram which can be easily understood by those involved In the management of the particular contract. [Pg.379]
