Stage of fabrication

Plastics Fabrication and Processing. The apphcation of microwave or r-f energy in various stages of fabrication of plastic products is widespread. Most apphcations operate at low frequency, ca 27 MHz. The estabhshed processes are weU known (180). 

Process and product models are commonly used for performing LCAs of the environmental impacts of materials and products through different stages of fabrication, use, and end-of-life options. In a recent article, it was shown that these models can be represented as process flow diagrams or as matrices of process interactions. Matrix representations are advantageous if application cost, feedback flow, or speed of analysis is important. They are also useful in conjunction with comprehensive, general equilibrium models in which the system boundary of the problem (e.g., an LCA of a product) being analyzed is on the level of the national economy (Hendrickson et al., 1998). Rich communities bear a responsibility to pioneer a path toward sustainable consumption (Myers, 1997).

The introduction of all or part of earlier batches, conforming to the required quality, into a batch of the same product at a defined stage of fabrication is authorized beforehand. This recovery is carried out in accordance with a validated procedure after evaluation of the risks involved, including any possible effect on stability. The recovery is recorded. 

In practice, it is normal to manufacture the tubes in quite long lengths, for example 100 m, after which the individual sleeves can be cut to the ordered size in preparation for the next stage of fabrication, hi the case of reverse air and shake collectors, this may involve the fitting of anti-collapse rings and possibly metal caps - attachments by which the filter sleeve can be suspended in the filter. Other reinforcements may also be included to enable the sleeve to withstand the effect of frequent flexing. 

Solution heat treatment is not performed on completed or partially-fabricated components. Rather, the extent of chromium carbide precipitation is controlled during all stages of fabrication as described below. 

Contamination of austenitic stainless steels of the 300 type by compounds which can alter the physical or metallurgical structure and/or properties of the material is avoided during all stages of fabrication. Painting of 300 series stainless steels is prohibited. Grinding is accomplished with resin or rubber-bounded aluminum oxide or silicon carbide wheels which were not previously used on materials other than austenitic alloys. Outside storage of partially-fabricated components is avoided and in most cases prohibited. Exceptions are made for certain components provided they are dry, completely covered with a waterproof material, and kept above ground.

What stage of fabrication and assembly may be critical for the optimum application of considered methods to fit well into the production program ... 

The use of nanodiamond particles not only at the stage of fabrication of items, but also at the stage of polymer synthesis could lead to unexpected positive effects. Of practical importance, first of all, can be the following directions.
