Social expectations

Schizophrenia is one of most serious, debilitating mental illness as its strikes at some of the most advanced functions of the human brain. It affects about 1% of the population, regardless of economical and cultural differences. Psychotic symptoms usually begin in late adolescence or early adulthood. Because of its chronic nature, severity and early onset, schizophrenia is an expensive illness, especially in industrialized nations where the symptoms are incompatible with the highly structured nature of the workplace and where social expectations are high. 

A conflict is generated when once the discrepancies have been discussed with the physician, it is socially expected that the pharmacist follow the medical order and dispense the medication prescribed. 

The social expectations for ecoregions are here categorised according to two fundamental dimensions - the creation of netwoiks, and the extension of oiganic values to new and/or non-organic actors.

Maximum performance is almost never required of operators (and that performance would also differ considerably from one operator to another). What is required, however, is adequate performance in order to achieve the social objective of the production system (the performance that all operators can achieve and which is therefore more predictable). This concept of adequacy (sufficient action) forms a practical reflection of the intention at the time when the work is done and of our understanding of social expectations in general. 

Conformity The motivational goal of this type is restraint of action, inclinations, and impulses likely to upset or harm others and violate social expectations or norms.
