Skin tissue regeneration electrospinning

PLACL EGF, insulin, Coaxial electrospinning and direct Skin tissue regeneration [169]... [Pg.179]

Electrospinning of biodegradable eco-friendly polymer nanoflbers has been used as a promising approach to fabricate scaffolds for dermal construction and wound healing (Priya et al. 2008). Several studies have been done in vitro in order to test the capability of the fabricated electrospun scaffolds to promote skin tissues regeneration (Kumbar et al. 2008 Powell and Boyce 2009 Shalumon et al. 2009 Sun et al. 2005 Yang et al. 2009). [Pg.420]

Ma et al. studied the effea of organic-soluble chitosan/PHB fibers for skin regeneration that was prepared by electrospinning. The cytotoxic study was evaluated with mouse fibroblast cells (L929) and the cell culture results revealed that it benefits promoting the cell attachment and proliferation and can be used as tissue engineering for skin regeneration. [Pg.600]
