Sharing operator

When you find them, see if the owner or operator will be willing to share operating data with you. [Pg.479]

Blommers et al. performed a conformational search on small peptides in an attempt to satisfy a set of NOE distance constraints. They used an SGA, the only variant on which was the use of a sharing operator to slow down convergence. At the end of the initial search phase, several interesting conformations were gradient minimized using an MM energy function. [Pg.49]

The second reason for the appeal of Fourier transform methods is cost. While the cost for a large, visible/UV Fourier transform instrument is high, two factors should be kept in mind. First, less expensive instruments can be constructed which will provide good spectroscopic data as shown by Horlick and Yuen. Second, the true cost to be considered is the cost per spectrum. Since, in general, Fourier transform instruments can collect broad bandwidth spectra relatively quickly, many more spectra can usually be collected by this method than by conventional dispersive methods. Since spectra can be collected much more rapidly than they can be analyzed, it is not unrealistic to think that a single instrument could serve many research groups. This method of joint or shared operation keeps the instrument in a state of use which optimizes its efficiency, and spreads the cost over many users. [Pg.450]

The CVLS algorithm schedule operations so that the necessary number of FUs is under the available FU limit. However, it doesn t determine which operations share the same FUs. Therefore, in datapath allocation, the sharing among conditional mutually exclusive operation is determined first. After that, the shared operations can be handled as a non-conditional operation, and in the next step, the sharing between operation in different c-step. [Pg.143]

Price/Cash flow = Price per share/Operating cash flow per share First, it is critical to calculate operating cashflow per share. [Pg.83]
