Section 2 Closed-book Questions

The first section of this book deals with current topics in network theory directed toward explaining the relationship between molecular architecture and macroscopic physical properties. The closely related questions of network formation and degradation are also discussed in this section. Deformation, fatigue, and fracture are discussed in the second section. The third section includes recent advances in cross-linking chemistry several chapters outline applications of new systems and detail the relationship between network structure and application properties. [Pg.1]

This book is divided into major sections. A multiple-choice test follows each of these sections. When you have completed a section, go ahead and take the section test. Take the tests closed book when you are confident about your skills on the individual quizzes. Try not to look back at the text material when you are taking them. The questions are no more difficult than the quizzes, but serve as a more complete review. I have thrown in several wacky answers to keep you awake and make the tests more fun. A good score is three-quarters of the answers right. Remember, all answers are in the back of the book. [Pg.6]

When time is called, you must put down your pencil and close your book. Keep track so you aren t caught off guard taking practice tests with a timer will help you familiarize yourself with the number of questions and their difficulty in relation to the clock. Remember that if you finish a section early, you can go back and try those you skipped, or check your answers (only in that section). [Pg.3]
