Screw INDEX

The fuze body assembly consists of metallic body which contains index lock pin, stop screw, index stop, striker assembly, rotor release assembly, delay lock pin, and rotor assembly. The explosive train consists of delay element M9, relay XM9 (2.31 grains of LA), detonator M35 (in rotor assembly) and a booster cup assembly.

The Tj, factors correct for the non-Newtonian shear rheology effects that occur in the channel. When the delay indicator on the fuze body is rotated to some arming delay mark, the index lock pin must be pushed inward in order to release the index ring. If delay time of less than 6-sec is desired, the stop screw must be removed prior to selecting an arming time. The striker assembly, contg a steel ball, spring, and firing...

Because of its high melt viscosity it has no useful melt flow index. Conventional screw plasticizing extrusion and injection molding can noy process them. The processing methods used are compression molding, ram extrusion, ram injection, and warm forming of extruded slugs from powdered plastic. In turn many components are machined from semifinished products.

The neutron-diffraction pattern from cellulose II, prepared by treating cotton linters with 20% sodium hydroxide at 0°, showed prominent peaks at (sin 8/ ) = 0.0089 - 0.0094 nm-1 and 0.0075 nm-1, which can be indexed only by enlarging the conventional unit-cell.
