Scientific implications of the developed quantification approach

From a scientific point of view, the outcome of the conducted research proves that the value determination of SCIs is possible. The approach can be regarded as first attempt

The quantification q proach can be seen as a methodic-instrumental point of contact to the mainly conceptual work of Hofinann Locker (2009), Lambert Burduroglu (2000), Pohlen Coleman (2005) and Pohlen Goldsby (2003). 

Refer to the work of Ballou (2006), who identifies and categorizes estimation methods. In comparison to the common techniques, such as experiment or surveys, fiizzy logic can be seen as innovative way of quantifying the relation between logistics customer service and revenues (especially in advance). 

Before extrapolating the financial effects the system boundaries of each supply chain player have to be well defined in terms of related products as well as supplier and customer segments.
