Safety advice

This chapter looks at sources of safety advice and information, the transfer of information by way of reports and how information can be stored so that it can be easily retrieved. [Pg.88]

Under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, all employers should have available to them a source of competent health and safety advice. How this is achieved will depend on the size and organization of the particular employment but it can be achieved in a number of ways. [Pg.88]

Experimental chemistry is a very dangerous occupation and extreme care and adequate safety precautions should be taken at all times.
