The major evaporation inputs are temperature, relative humidity, velocity, and evaporation rate. The evaporation rate is estimated from mathematical models for complex mixtures, solutions, or suspensions, it is measured. Tin-plated steel was long the mainstay of the U.S. aerosol industry and still represents a very large volume.
