These values are conservative, and ate applicable to all typical constructions of wire rope as recommended for the rotary drilling lines shown in Table 4-9.

Bleed-Off Line. This line bleeds off pressure within the standpipe, rotary base, kelly and the drill pipe to the depth of the top float valve. The bleed-off line allows air (or gas) under pressure to be fed directly to the blooey line. 

Almost all remaining machine work, including all small parts, can be done on a metal cutting lathe. All holes can be drilled with a drill press. A rotary indexing table for the drill press is not essential, but it simplifies locating the various holes in the fuze body in proper relation to each other. (90 and 40 from reference lines). 

Four types of drilling systems employed for obtaining subsurface strata samples in coal exploration and development activities are the (1) rotary and (2) reverse circulation (noncore) systans and (3) conventional and (4) wire-line-coring systems. Each system is identifiable by its unique method of sample recovery (Landua, 1977 Chugh, 1985 Whittaker, 1985).
