Reactions with Miscellaneous Inorganic Compounds

Reactions of N2F4/NF2 with inorganic compounds that cannot be subsumed under Sections 4.1.12.6.8.1 to 4.1.12.6.8.3 are listed in Table 26. The table is supplemented with reactions with a few organometallic compounds and some reactions with COF, -CN, C=S, C-SFO groups that may be classified as organic reactions.

Many of these preparations are of course intended for advanced students, but a mere perusal of the experimental details of selected preparations by those whose time for experimental work is limited may assist to impress them on the memory. Attention is particularly directed to the chapter... 

The reactions of the phenolic hydroxyl group which have been included in this chapter comprise esterification with carboxylic acids and related reactants, with inorganic materials, with replacements producing nitrogen, sulphur and halogen-containing compounds, procedures for removal of the OH group and miscellaneous reactions.
