RAPPORT study

A degree of rapport must be built between the analyst and the worker in order for them to feel that their commentary will be treated confidentially. This is important in situations where an incident has not been reported in the past and the workers do not wish to open themselves or their colleagues to potential sanctions. Under such conditions, it may be appropriate for the analyst to provide the overall results of the study, rather than the actual content in terms of events etc. [Pg.157]
