Place the benzyl acrylate (2 g, 0.012 mol) and AIBN (0.010 g, 6.1 X 10 mol) in a polymerization tube the add chlorobenzene (20 mL). A protective netting sleeve is then placed over the tube to minimize danger from glass, should the tube shatter. Attach the tube to the manifold and close the Young s tap at the top of the tube. 

Another application can be mentioned here riser protection nets. One of the first, which has performed well, was designed by HA McKenna of TTI for the Auger platform in the Gulf of Mexico in 1992. Dissolution argillaceous limestone slopes in the Three Gorges Reservoir area are protected by various protective measures, including anchored shotcrete, lattice, retaining wall, anchored cable, anti-slide pile, flexible protecting net, combination of different modes. Several slopes have been selected to compare their protective measures and environmental harmony. 

Ffowever, by being in an open field you may expose yourself to a new hazard such as an attack from a swarm of bees so you clothe yourself in protective netting leaving so little of your skin exposed to the potential hazard that likelihood of receiving fatal stings is negligible. It is sometimes possible to alter the consequences should the hazard impact upon you.

All working platforms should be fully boarded, with adequate edge protection, including handrails or other means of fall protection, nets, brickguards and/or toe-boards to prevent materials or people falling from the platforms.

In the USA photo-biodegradable polypropylene baler twines based on SG oxo-biodegradable PP have been used for 15 years and substantially replaced conventional PP slit films in hay wrapping and crop-protection netting. These are given a useful life of one year and this is followed by rapid disintegration and bioassimilation.
