Promotes atomic development

Regional Advisory Committee on Nuclear Energy—Established by the Southern Governors Conference in 1957 to promote atomic development, provide technical advice, and encourage the adoption of radiation-protection regulations in the southern states. 

The thyroid hormone thyroxine (tetraiodo-thyronine, T4) and its active form triiodothyronine (T3) are derived from the amino acid tyrosine. The iodine atoms at positions 3 and 5 of the two phenol rings are characteristic of them. Post-translational synthesis of thyroxine takes place in the thyroid gland from tyrosine residues of the protein thyro-globulin, from which it is proteolytically cleaved before being released, iodothyronines are the only organic molecules in the animal organism that contain iodine. They increase the basal metabolic rate, partly by regulating mitochondrial ATP synthesis, in addition, they promote embryonic development. 

The relatively high cost of commercial USNs has promoted the development of custom-made prototypes. Thus, some authors have modified commercial humidifiers to obtain batch USNs for use with atomic spectrometers. However, these custom-made nebulizers are impractical and feature a severely limited throughput. Thus, Yeon et al. used a humidifier to make a continuous USN for ICP-AES with a configuration similar to that of the CETAC units [23]. The prototype exhibited improved sensitivity relative to a pneumatic nebulizer, but also impaired precision owing to signal instability. 

Finally, the addition of a Co promoter involves a modification of the sulfur species on the surface. Berhault and co-workers (98) have observed a strong increase in the reducibility of a Co-promoted M0S2 phase compared to an unpromoted one and ascribed this effect to an electronic promotion of the M0S2 phase by transfer of electrons from the Co promoting atom to the Mo one. This donation weakens the Mo-S bond strength and increases the ability to remove sulfur anions and to create anionic vacancies. This result is consistent with the theory developed previously by Harris and Chianelli (86). 

The abstraction of a hydrogen atom from the benzene ring during the oxidation of PI may cause the formation of water, the presence of which promotes the development of autocatalytic random heterolytic processes of degradation of the polymer chain...

Bhabha established the Atomic Energy Commission of India. He served as the president of the United Nations Conference on Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy. His efforts to develop nuclear reactors in India coincided with the interest of the United States in promoting Atoms for Peace. The capabilities India acquired for peaceful use of nuclear energy, however, supported its national efforts to develop nuclear weapons. Bhabha s role in such developments is unclear.
