Breast Cancer Resistance Protein (BCRP, also known as MXR or ABCP), first cloned from mitoxantrone and anthracycline-resistant breast and colon cancer cells [188, 189] is a half-transporter efflux pump believed to function as a homo-or hetero-dimer.
