In the feasibility phase the project is tested as a concept. Is it technically feasible and is it economically viable There may be a number of ways to perform a particular task (such as develop an oil field) and these have to be judged against economic criteria, availability of resources, and risk. At this stage estimates of cost and income (production) profiles will carry a considerable uncertainty range, but are used to filter out unrealistic options. Several options may remain under consideration at the end of a feasibility study. 

Some companies that let toll contracts do not visit a site until this last phase in the toller selection process and would need a signed agreement to make the visit and discuss proprietary aspects of the project.

Through this chapter we would like to express our appreciation of all these educational concepts. Besides (not in contrast) the conceptions mentioned above, our intention is to initialise a process of reflection and maybe of conceptual change for the learners. Learning about the history of science into more detail can be a desired by-product , but it is not the main focus of the approach described above. Therefore, it is our aim to promote learning about basic processes in chemical enquiry, whereas the other projects mainly focused on learning about single topic or phase in the history of chemistry.

As can be easily seen by inspection of these illustrations of the SuiCsPa and ShiCsPf phases, while the director tilt in the tilt plane is synclinic for both, the layer interfaces have a different character when observed in projection in the bow plane. The antiferroelectric diastereomer has synclinic character at the layer interfaces, while the ferroelectric diastereomer is anticlinic in the bow plane. This suggests a very simple reason for the tendency toward antiferroelectric bananas, this being basically the same as the tendency toward ferroelectric calamitic smectics preference for synclinic layer interfaces. 

Genetic engineering techniques have had a significant impact upon the research, development and commercialization phases of projects in the industrial enzyme business. The technology has proven successful and will play an even greater role in the future in expanding the present markets. 

The second phase in WE-NET was completed one year ahead of schedule in 2002, and was succeeded by a new project "Development of basic technologies for the safe use of H2", which started in 2003 (see above).
