Peer review editorial process

All submissions to RAP go through a rigorous peer review process, overseen by the Editorial Board, which includes external review. Starting this year, all RAP papers will be published electronically on SpringerLink.com with Springer journsis as well as in book format. 

Review process. Gives the user an idea of how meticulous the site is about its postings. It is preferable that site uses a peer-review process. For example, each document that is posted on the Web site goes through an editorial process of equally qualified persons, or peers (peer review). 

I extend my appreciation to each contributor of Volume 44 and thank colleagues who participated in the peer review process. I also extend my sincere thanks to my editorial liaison at Elsevier, Ms. Pat Gonzalez for her continued support.

Walter W. Focke, PhD, is a full professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Director of the Institute of Applied Materials at University of Pretoria in South Africa. A registered professional engineer and a member of the American Chemical Society, the Polymer Processing Society, the International Pyrotechnics Society, and the South African Institute of Chemical Engineers, Professor Focke has published more than 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals. His current Scopus h-Index is 8. and his publications listed in Scopus have been cited more than 1200 times. He is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Vinyl and Additive Technology, the International Journal of Adhesion Adhesives, and the International Polymer Processing. 

Professor Focke has published more than 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals. His current Scopus h-lndex is 8, and his publications listed in Scopus have been cited more than 1200 times. He is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal ofVmyl and Additive Technology, the InternationalJournal of Adhesion Adhesives, aaSi International Polymer Processing. 

Each paper has been expertly processed by an Editorial Board consisting of academic and industrial experts in catalysis. Furthermore each paper was reviewed by peers within and outside of the ORCS community. The volume is organized into five major symposia as follows ...
