Oxygen-containing phosphorus

Structure-Reactivity Studies on Oxygen-Containing Phosphorus-Based Ligands... [Pg.615]

Theoretical studies of a variety of oxygen-containing phosphorus compounds, including P(V) acids and esters, by molecular mechanics (MM3) force field methods and of the interactions of phosphate, phosphonate, phosphinate and phosphine oxide ligands with lanthanide cations in the gas phase have been... [Pg.151]

OCr, CIOJ, CIO3, CIO4, Br03, and IO3 Oxygen-containing phosphorus compounds ... [Pg.175]

If BPSG-films contain more than 5% phosphorus, oxygen-containing phosphorus, depending on the deposition parameters, can be formed as well, yielding monofluorophosphate and polyphosphates after treatment with HF. Today, polyphosphates can be analyzed without difficulty on lonPac AS16 with a... [Pg.1141]

Schroder, D., Schwarz, H., Hrusak, J. and Pyykkd, P. (1998) Cationic gold(l) complexes of xenon and of ligands containing the donor atoms oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur. Inorganic Chemistry, 37, 624—632. [Pg.234]

The best known boron-containing ring systems are the so-called inorganic benzenes, namely, borazine (71), boroxine (72), and triphosphatriborin (73) (Fig. 46), which are isoelectronic and isostructural with benzene. These ring systems are obtained by the interaction of boron with nitrogen, oxygen, and phosphorus, respectively.4... [Pg.50]

A more common usage of phosphorus pentasulfide is to effect replacement of oxygen atoms in an acyclic compound. The thiated intermediate—which may be a fairly complex derivative containing phosphorus, sulfur, and oxygen atoms—then cyclizes with elimination. Except in one case, mentioned below, the intermediates seem not to have been studied in any detail. [Pg.75]

PMMA - Red Phosphorus System. The initial reaction that was investigated was that between PMMA and red phosphorus (4-51. Phosphorus was chosen since this material is known to function as a flame retardant for oxygen-containing polymers (1 2). Two previous investigations of the reaction of PMMA with red phosphorus have been carried out and the results are conflicting. Raley has reported that the addition of organic halides and red phosphorus to PMMA caused moderate to severe deterioration in flammability characteristics. Other authors have reported that the addition of chlorine and phosphorus compounds are effective flame retardant additives (12). [Pg.181]

The present review is mainly concerned with the crystal chemistry of compounds containing phosphorus(V) bound to oxygen and nitrogen forming P(N, 0)4 tetrahedra. Thus, ammonium phosphates will be omitted as well as hydrazine and carbon containing compounds. We will focus on the structure of molecular, molecular ionic, and condensed PON compounds. Some aspects of these compounds have been summarized in the literature in the past (13-16). [Pg.194]

Nerve agents are organophosphonate compounds. They contain phosphorus double-bonded to an oxygen atom and single-bonded to a carbon atom. GB is O-isopropyl methylphosphonofluoridate. VX is O-ethyl-S [2-(diisopropyl amino) ethyl]-methylphospho-nothiolate. [Pg.39]

ATP Regarded as Store House of Energy Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in a nucleotide consists of purine base adenine, a pentose sugar ribose and three molecules of phosphate. It contains two oxygen to phosphorus bonds between two phosphate units. These phosphorus bonds are called high energy phosphatic bonds. [Pg.110]
