Outbursts

Reductions in aggressive behavior after treatment with amphetamine and other psyehomotor stimulants are seen in children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with hyperkinesis or attention deficit disorder. There is considerable disagreement about these diagnostic categories and about whether the violent outbursts and uncontrolled episodes of aggressive behavior are limited to the early developmental period or continue into adulthood (Mendelson et al. 1971 Minde et al. 1972). 

Increased energy, irritability, and anger outbursts, racing thoughts, decreased need for sleep (-) heart palpitations, weight loss, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea PE... 

At 2000 K there is sufficient energy to make the H2 molecules dissociate, breaking the chemical bond the core density is of order 1026 m-3 and the total diameter of the star is of order 200 AU or about the size of the entire solar system. The temperature rise increases the molecular dissociation, promoting electrons within the hydrogen atoms until ionisation occurs. Finally, at 106 K the bare protons are colliding with sufficient energy to induce nuclear fusion processes and the protostar develops a solar wind. The solar wind constitutes outbursts of material that shake off the dust jacket and the star begins to shine.

The contributions of different stars to nucleosynthesis depend on their initial mass and chemical composition, their mass loss history in the course of evolution and effects of close binaries (especially SN la). When mass loss is small, as is believed to be the case for low metallicities, the distribution of primary elements (those synthesized directly from hydrogen and helium) in ejecta from massive stars is mainly the result of hydrostatic evolution with some modifications to deeper layers resulting from explosive nucleosynthesis in the final SN outburst, classically... 

Anorexia nervosa sufferers can exhibit sudden angry outbursts or become socially withdrawn. One in ten cases of anorexia nervosa leads to death from starvation, cardiac arrest, other medical complications, or suicide. Clinical depression and anxiety place many individuals with eating disorders at risk for suicidal behavior. 

Memorable to his associates was the absence of tempermental outbursts by Mark during times of stress. There are occasional outbursts of skepticism about the value of the risk assessment approach. Some argue its full use is overly burdensome, that the only real need is to identify toxic chemicals and then eliminate them or reduce their presence. Perhaps this approach is appropriate for a few chemicals that exhibit extremely high toxicity or that are excessively persistent and bioaccumulate in an environment, and for which there are reasonably good substitutes available. But as a general approach, it ignores the elementary principle that all chemicals will... 

Occasionally, subjects who were disoriented and frightened expressed anger - rarely violently, but often unpredictably and at times bizarrely. These incidents were rare and were usually handled without difficulty since the volunteer s attention span was extremely short and he would generally forget what he was doing or intending to do. Amnesia almost always erased recollection of these outbursts. 

ADHD may continue into adulthood. This issue has been debated not only in medical journals but on TV talk shows and in news magazines as well. However, adult ADHD is no trivial matter. Certainly, the physical hyperactivity of the 6 year old with ADHD is not so readily evident in the 26 or 36 year old. Nevertheless, some individuals with ADHD continue to be plagued by impulsive outbursts of anger and poor concentration even after they reach adulthood. This continues to take a toll as it often leads to marital strife and problems holding a job. Like the child and adolescent with ADHD, adults with the disorder are often considered underachievers and may even be dismissed as lazy.
