3 Other Conjugated Polymer-Based Anode Materials 

The significant improvement of capacity and cyclability of conjugated-polymer-based anode materials has been well described above in silicon and tin oxide, which often suffer the low electronic conductivity and especially the huge volumetric change during Li-ion insertion/extraction reaction. As for other anode materials, such as Fe O [112], NiO [113], TiO [114], and MoS [115], the similar functionalities were also demonstrated. 

As a typical system for metal sulfides, the hierarchical MoS /PANI nanowires were prepared in our recent report [115]. As a typical layered 

Starting from the ID precursor of MOjOj CCgH Nj HjO, MoO /PANI nanowires were received after polymerization, which were then converted to MoS /PANl via hydrothermal process with thiourea. The as-obtained products evenly integrate MoS ultrathin nanosheets with PANl into the primary ID architecture, resulting in the novel hierarchical and polymer-hybrid nanowires. These unique MoS /PANI nanowires exhibited greatly improved Li+-storage properties owing to the hierarchical textures and the PANI-hybrid structures.
