Plastisol Viscosity and Viscosity Stability. After the primary contribution of the resin type in terms of its particle size and particle size distribution, for a given PVC resin, plastisol viscosity has a secondary dependence on plasticizer viscosity. The lower molecular weight and more linear esters have the lowest viscosity and hence show the lowest plastisol viscosity, ie, plastisol viscosity for a common set of other formulation ingredients... 

Other flame retardants and/or smoke suppressants can also be used such as magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium-zinc complexes and some tin-zinc compositions. Capsaicin, also known as N-Vanillyl-8-methyl-6-(E)-noneamide, is the most pungent of the group of compounds called capsaicinoids It is a common ingredient in varieties of pepper such as habanero, Thai, tabasco, cayenne etc. One target with which capsaicin interacts is the capsaicin receptor, an ion channel belonging to the superfamily of TRP channels. Because of the structural relation to other TRP channels and because the vanilloid moiety is an essential component of capsaicin, the capsaicin receptor is also called TRPVI or vanilloid receptor (VR1). It is involved in heat and pain perception. 

The most common ingredient in shampoos is also the most common detergent in use in other products a class of surfactants known as straight-chain alkyl benzene sulfonates. Examples are ammonium lauryl sulfate, its sodium relative, and the slightly larger but related molecule ammonium lauryl ether sulfate (sometimes abbreviated as ammonium laureth sulfate).

While many commercially available preparations contain only melatonin, many others contain a combination of this hormone with other active ingredients. Some of these other ingredients may be vitamins such as pyri-doxine, while others are natural remedies such as kava root and valerian. It is even available combined with acetaminophen, a common over-the-counter pain reliever. Frequently, the long-term effects and safety of these other ingredients are not known. Even less is known about any possible interactions between these substances and melatonin, because melatonin has been available and used commercially for only a short period of time. Many experts have suggested that it would be preferable to test melatonin in controlled studies to determine if it is effective and safe before it was released on the market and used by millions of people. 

In India, it is an essential ingredient in the Bengali spice mixture panch phoron and in Chinese five-spice powders. In the west, fennel seed is a very common ingredient in Italian sausages and northern European rye breads. Many egg, fish and other dishes employ fresh or dried fennel leaves. Florence fennel is a key ingredient in some Italian and German salads, often tossed with chicory and avocado, or it can be braised and served as a warm side dish. One may also blanch and/or marinate the leaves, or cook them in risotto. In all cases, the leaves lend their characteristically mild, anise-like flavour. 

The adhesive base or binder is the principal component of an adhesive. The binder provides many of the main characteristics of the adhesive such as wettability, curing properties, strength, and environmental resistance. The binder is often by weight the largest component in the adhesive formulation, but this is not always the case, especially with highly filled adhesives or sealant systems. The binder is generally the component from which the name of the adhesive is derived. For example, an epoxy adhesive may have many components, but the primary material or base is an epoxy resin. Once the binder is chosen, the other necessary ingredients can be determined. Chapter 4 describes in detail the various polymeric resins that are commonly used as bases or binders in epoxy adhesive formulations. 

An almost colourless and odourless oil which is inexpensive and becoming an increasingly popular choice for both culinary and massage applications. It is non-greasy, hypoallergenic and a common ingredient for skin creams. It blends well with other more viscous carriers. High in polyunsaturated fatty acids especially linoleic (58-81%), with oleic (12-20%), palmitic (5-11%) and stearic (3-6%). It is a safe and versatile oil, nontoxic with no reported contraindications.
