Removing the soak cleaner film from the work, whether it is alkaline or acid, takes a good portion of the preplate process cycle. If the soak cleaner has performed well, the organic sods have been solubdized completely, and the water-iasoluble sod film originally on the work has been replaced with a surface-active but water-soluble film. This film now contains the elements of the cleaner along with the cleaner—sod constituents. Rinsing ia clean water is essential to reduciag this tenacious film. 

Lithium metal is chemically very active and reacts thermodynamically with any organic electrolyte. However, in practice, lithium metal can be dissolved and deposited electrochemically in some organic electrolytes [5]. It is generally believed that a protective film is formed on the lithium anode which prevents further reaction [6, 7]. This film strongly affects the lithium cycling efficiency. 

Due to the need to increase cycles, the limitations of zinc at high pH levels and the stripping of inhibitor film at low pH, a change is recommended to a High Stress Tolerant, All Organic Program.
