Networking, cross-business

Have I created a context (or found a context) that facilitates cross-business networking, protects key resources, and offers a chance to pilot new ideas before they consume significant resources ... 

For specialty chemicals production networks, the planning and controlling process has to combine the site perspective and the value chain perspective. Most specialty chemicals companies have a division/business unit organization and operate sites shared by several divisions. While each division can cover the value chain perspective individually, for example by integrating the above-mentioned indicators into controlling processes, the site perspective requires cross-divisional coordination to avoid suboptimal solutions. Different options ranging from centralized to decentralized setups exist to do so (cf. Hayes and Wheelwright 1984, pp. 120-125). 

The operational, services, and customer component areas are integrally connected in the modem service value chain network. Data is pooled, shared, exchanged, and cross-concept applied (between customer servicing, operations, and business strategies) to provide new learning and new customer solutions. The component areas come together at the service encounter touch-point . The customer receives the business s demand-driven, appropriate, approximated, value-added set of services. This mix is intelligently sourced and retrieved from its networked combinations of databases.

In the colorless diamond, the carbon atoms (all sp hybridized) form an insulating network of cross-linked cyclohexane chair conformers (see also Real Life 4-1). Diamond is the densest and hardest (least deformable) material known. It is also less stable than graphite, by 0.45 kcal/g C atom, and transforms into graphite at high temperatures or when subjected to high-energy radiation, a little-appreciated fact in the jewelry business.

An attempt has been made to project a blue print for establishment of an international collaborative networked venture which may form the basis of a true global university. The specific area from where this concept can take roots is the area of mobile communication studies. Such a scheme will produce trained manpower with cross-cultural exposures, an essential parameter for business success in the present situations.
