Needs children

Adults Give 0.2-0.5 mg intramuscularly (IM) or subcutaneously (SC) repeat every 5 minutes as needed Children 0.01 mg/kg (maximum 0.3 mg) IM or SC repeat every 5 minutes as needed... 

Lactation Estrogens have been shown to decrease the quantity and quality of breast milk and may be excreted in breast milk. Administer only when clearly needed. Children Estrogen therapy has been used for the induction of puberty in adolescents with some forms of pubertal delay. Safety and efficacy in children have not otherwise been established. 

Adults - 25 mg may repeat dose within 2 hours if needed. Children 2 years of age and older - Dose should not exceed half the adult dose.

Special needs children, however, because of their relative degree of physical, learning, or emotional disability, can absorb a disproportionate amount of parental energy, time, attention, and family resources. Compared to siblings, they are more developmentally challenged and therefore can require more care. 

Exposures Of Children. Children may be exposed to strontium and radiostrontium in the same manner as adults in the general population (e.g., air, food, water). No information was available on unique exposure pathways for children (e.g., pica children, dermal). Better and more recent information on exposure levels to children may be beneficial.
