As one of the major sectors of the national economy, China s construction industry is under the overall control of the central government. The Ministry of Construction (MoC) and National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) share the leadership of administration of the construction sector. 

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), an amalgamation of the former State Planning Commission (SPC) and State Reform Commission (SRC), is a macroeconomic management agency under the State Council. It formulates policies for economic and social development, manages macroeconomic policy, and guides overall economic restructuring.

The importance of K-12 education to the nation s future is without question, and the national investment of well over 300 billion per year is consistent with this importance. To derive the maximum benefit from this substantial investment, it is past time to end the apparent disconnect between educational practice and basic research on human development and learning. Educational reform will have a much greater chance to succeed if informed by quantified knowledge of what works. 

ZECA [Zero Emission Coal Alliance] A process for making electricity from coal. The coal is reacted with steam and hydrogen to produce methane, which is reformed to produce pure hydrogen, which is used in a solid oxide fuel cell to produce electricity. Developed from 1999 by Los Alamos National Laboratory and an alliance of industrial research laboratories, now organized as the ZECA Corporation.
