Multichannel chip 384-channel

To automate the process of SAM synthesis in the microchannels for the generation of sensing arrays, a multichannel chip suitable for continuous flow of reagents was designed. A microchannel chip (4 x 2.2 cm2) with five parallel channels confined in an area of 200 pm was fabricated. Each channel can be individually addressed and... [Pg.103]

Figure 4.17 depicts the protocol for the parallel synthesis of five sensing SAMs in the multichannel chip. After the activation with piranha and the formation of the amino-terminated TPEDA SAM, the unique functionalisation of each monolayer can be achieved by introducing consecutively different fluorophores fl (, x = 1-5) and ligands (L, y = 1-5) in each channel. As a result an array of five fluorescent SAMs (F l. ) confined to a single chip can be achieved. The result is a chip with an array of five fluorescent SAMs. [Pg.104]

FIGURE 42.3 A modular microreactor system for the direct fluorination of ethyl acetoacetate by fluorine gas. The design allows for multiple channels to be supplied from single reservoir sources and a multichannel device to be constructed in a facile manner from a disposable channel plate. On-Chip Electrospray, Fig. 3 Schematic diagram representing the multichannel ESI-MS chip device in Xue et al. [12]. Each channel was connected to two reservoirs for sample injection and delivery. A syringe pump attached to the second reservoir of each channel was used... [Pg.2507]

The multichannel SPR sensors are required for direct detection in high throughput screening systems in the search of new pharmaceuticals. First steps in this direction include the system introduced by BIAcore and the approach proposed by Berger [20] which uses a four-channel chip that can be rotated by 90° to provide 16 channels. [Pg.362]
